As Roofing Foreman, you will lead the charge in directing your team to be solutions-oriented, accountable, and serving our customers’ needs to the highest standard. The roofing foreman is responsible for leading and supervising a roofing crew to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing resources, and maintaining a safe working environment. The roofing foreman must have extensive knowledge of roofing systems, construction techniques, and safety protocols.
- Project Planning:
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project specifications, timelines, and requirements.
- Plan and organize tasks to ensure efficient project execution.
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and supervise a team of roofing workers, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members.
- Motivate the team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that roofing installations meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address any issues or defects.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct safety meetings and training for the roofing crew.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
- Resource Management:
- Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Coordinate deliveries and inventory to meet project requirements.
- Communication:
- Maintain open communication with project managers.
- Report progress, issues, and challenges regularly.
- Address and resolve any concerns or conflicts within the team.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify and address issues or challenges that may arise during the roofing project.
- Propose and implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and other project-related data.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports.

- Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and construction techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
